I used to be the girl who went to the nail salon every two weeks or so to get acrylic nails (even went through an eagle claw stage lol). And then I was the girl who went for mani/pedi’s and a nice gel nail. Now I’m the girl who does it at home! I enjoy the nail salon, I truly do. However, I really don’t enjoy the wait to get into the nail salon, it’s not so much fun. And if you’re anything like me and you like to change your nail color often in order to accommodate your outfits time becomes an issue.

Anyway, if you follow my blog you must know by now that I’m a HUGE fan of the colors blush and burgundy and that goes for my nails as well! I absolutely love the Sally Hansen brand. Don’t get me wrong Essie has some beautiful colors that I think are adorable but when it comes to application, Sally Hansen’s the winner winner chicken dinner!! The wide brush makes the task soooo much easier since you can nearly cover one nail in 2 strokes. It’s a time saver and honestly, the turnout is just better.

The two colors I’m rotating almost weekly are Sheer Nirvana (230) and Pat On The Black (510) The Sheer Nirvana does require 3 coats in order to get a good deep color but the Pat On The Black is def a two coater. Oh and because the name is misleading, Pat On The Black is a deep oxblood color and actually not black at all. Hope you like! :)
