Spring is right around the corner and I can’t help but think of all the ways to transition fashionably into the new season! Midi wrap skirts are so hot right as well as the slightly off the shoulder blouses. Wearing military green along with a close toed shoe definitely feels fall/winter, where as the pink and white striped top screams spring/summer! To me, the color combo is perfection. Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, I’m impatiently waiting for warmer weather ❤

I’m not exactly sure if it’s a trend yet but I’m currently loving all the nude and blush I’ve been seeing in the stores lately! Typically, those light colors would be seen in spring and summer but seeing them now in the fall and also for the winter has me excited! I’m not one to venture too far away from my usual black ensembles in the cooler months, but I certainly will be this year.
Deep burgundy on the other hand has been making its rounds for the last few seasons and for me, it’s a color that never gets old! Which is why I’m convinced the two colors, blush and deep burgundy, make the perfect color combination. When mixed with a darker denim and a neutral (in my case is cheetah print) the contrast of the two colors really balances out.
Here’s an example …
Now, I know not everyone will have these exact items in their closet (links below for purchase). However, every fashionista should at least have these colors! Paired with gold jewelry and Revlon’s Vixen Nail Polish (my fav) makes the look complete! Here’s how I mixed and matched to make these color combos work with what I have in my closet ..

Each time I visit San Diego I start to get giddy. I know I’ll be visiting my all time favorite mall, Fashion Valley! And in that mall consists of my all time favorite store, Nordstrom! There’s something about having all your desired brands in one store, I mean, it doesn’t get better than that! I lust over Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Chloe, and Balenciaga, just to name a few but then again let’s not forget all the other drool worthy brands like Chanel, Fendi, Valentino, Burberry …. ok I’m getting excited all over again!
The Marc by Marc Jacobs bag I’m carrying on this day was a purchase from my last visit to this mall a couple of months ago. As I’ve mentioned in other posts, my access to designer brands is limited in my small Mid-West city, so malls like Fashion Valley is a special treat for me! On this particular trip I was shopping for sunnies but who can help browsing through designer handbags!!
