Hi, guys! The weekend is here and I couldn’t be more excited! Saturday will be quite busy (& exciting) due to traveling to Yuma, AZ to watch my oldest sons football game but I’m super looking forward to Sunday Funday and by Funday, I mean lying around the house in cozy socks and sweats! I still have a few Stranger Things episodes left to watch and since it’s definitely feeling like fall around here I can literally think of nothing better to do! ❤
As you all know, I love fashion that makes a statement, even if it’s a subtle one! Which is why I love this amazing sweater I picked up at Nordstrom Rack the other day! The exaggerated cuffs are to die for and the sweater itself is soooo cozy. Also, I’d like to add, my obsession with mules is still in full affect as you will see in many more posts to come. ❤
I wanted to join in a little on all the fun of fall fashion even though it’s still very warm here in San Diego. I’ve noticed the mornings are a little more crisp than usual and the evenings are chilly but for the most part it’s a steady, high 70’s and sunny! Which makes wearing a sleeveless sweater perfect for this kind of weather!
Blush and mules were two staples in my last years wardrobe and that’s definitely not changed for this year. Comfort is a big deal to me especially when it comes to shoes and you can’t get any more comfortable than slipping on a pair of mules when you’re on the go. I also love wearing them while shopping for easy take off / put on when you’re in the dressing room! To shop the look above, click on the links below. Happy Sunday! ❤
It’s been a little over a year now since my family and I decided to up and move to San Diego from the Mid-West. And while I feel as though we’ve all experienced so much since being here, there’s definitely a ton that we haven’t! We typically don’t venture far from the coastline but North Park was our destination of choice on Saturday and wow, have we been missing out! This area has LOTS of character! From the breweries, to the eateries, to businesses, and street art this place is an instagramers dream come true!
I was instantly drawn to Pigment, a trendy little store located on the corner of 30th and N Park Way. As soon as I saw those pink stripes outside, I knew I was going to love whatever was inside!! And I did. Filled with a massive array of plants and home decor, this place was sooooooo dreamy! I’m sure Pigment is known by all the locals but if you’re new to the city like me, check it out, you won’t be disappointed! ❤
One morning she woke up different. Done with trying to figure out who was with her, against her, or walking down the middle because they didn’t have the guts to pick a side. She was done with anything that didn’t bring her peace. She realized opinions were a dime a dozen, validation was for parking, and loyalty wasn’t a word, but a lifestyle. It was on this day her life changed. Not for a man, or a job, but because she realized life is way too short to leave the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket. – unknown
