For those of you who have been to Palm Springs or actually live there, you probably already know about this little gem right off the resort strip. For those of you who don’t, well now you do! Moorten Botanical Garden Showplace is a photographers dream come true! I love love love cactus and succulents, so coming here had me so excited and overwhelmed I didn’t know where to start! Everything is absolutely gorgeous and if you’re from somewhere you don’t get to see a lot of this amazingness, well you’re definitely gonna get your fill. ❤

Ok guys, so I’ve kinda been living in rompers and jumpsuits lately, and I’m not even mad about it. First of all, it’s a complete outfit, no matching or planning. Second, nothing is more comfortable! I’ve had this romper for like a million years but recently purchased the yellow cardigan. I love how the yellow brings out all the pops of color. You can shop other options below. ❤

I absolutely love finding new ways to style old pieces that I’ve had for some time. Pairing denim with a flowy maxi dress and even better, mixing prints, florals with leopard, has become my new favorite style! This dress is a full front button up which would also allow me to leave it completely unbuttoned and where it more as a kimono, which I definitely plan to do in the near future!

I chose to wear high-waisted stretch skinnies with this look in order to give the peek-a-boo of a long, lean leg. And the high-waist allows me to unbutton the dress more, giving the illusion of a top rather than just a maxi dress.

Here’s my tip when trying to achieve this look: Use a dress that is capable of showing some serious skin! High slits on both sides or even just on side will give the dress a flowy look and allow the denim to pop through. Get creative! Don’t be afraid to try new styles, being unique is part of the beauty ❤

Today was cloudy and cold 😦 However, with tons of rain in our forecast (like seriously, 6 days straight) I had to get to the beach to smell the ocean one last time for the week. Maybe that’s weird to some, but I moved to San Diego for a reason, ok maybe for a couple of reasons, but one huge reason was to have the ability to visit the ocean as often as I like ❤

This for real, may be the softest cardigan I’ve ever owned!! I’m absolutely IN LOVE with it. Not just a little bit in love with it, like a lot in love with it. I tend to gravitate to cozy cardigans that end up being my ‘everyday, around the house, uniform’ and this sweater is just that! I almost feel as though I should apologize in advance for all the times you’ll be seeing me where it 🙂

I’ve always loved wearing skirts but lately I’m reeeaalllly loving this whole skirt vibe I have going on. This Eva Mendes skirt was gifted to me on Christmas and I just love all the ways it can be styled! Today, I decided to pair it with a chunky, blush turtleneck to add some texture to this otherwise polished look. The leopard print heels add a bit of sass, and the Marc Jacobs leather clutch really ties everything together. My daughter Lexie and I strolled around Coronado on this beautiful, sunny day … and I felt fabulous 🙂 Shop this look below …

Wearing another leather jacket today cause, well, why not?! A heavy coat’s not really needed at this time of year here in SoCal or at least not yet … hmmm, to be continued though as the weather starts cooling off day by day. Anyway, what I’ve always loved about leather jackets, is that when worn, they create an instant chic to any outfit. I can be wearing sweats and put a leather jacket on and instantly feel too cool for school 😉

This particular day was 65 and cloudy, so for me, a light jacket was needed. I bought this jacket last year at Forever21 for my oldest daughter. She never wears it, so I do 🙂 And these boots should be a staple to anyone’s closet, they literally go with everything! Links to this outfit below …
