Happy Friday, guys! I hope everyone is enjoying their evening so far, happy hours, couch cuddles, whatever it may entail. I’m currently laying in bed with my beardo kinda, sorta, not really watching a movie and struggling from a serious case of FOMO. I’m supposed to be at NYFW right now, airline tickets bought and everything but after enduring the cold temps on our last months trip to the midwest we decided to stay in warmer areas of the country for now, which means home. ❤
Annnyywwaaayy, so for the sake of fashion and with New York in mind I thought I’d post a warm weather look for you guys. ❤
Happy Hump Day, friends!! I decided to take advantage of this warmer weather to share this dress I snagged on sale at Urban outfitters. I fell in love with it in the spring but my size wasn’t in stock and while usually I’ll then order it online, another dress quickly caught my attention and sadly this little number was forgotten 😦 Then the other day I was browsing through the UO website and there it was, for $19.99!!! Clearly it was meant to be and so I purchased … and now I’m sharing not only a similar dress but also the link to browse ALL their dresses on salehere. ❤
Living near the beach here in San Diego makes these rainy, gloomy days also breezy! While the temp might say it’s 58 degrees out the wind from the ocean definitely brings in the chill factor. I’m not really complaining considering my hometown is facing a multiple day ice storm!! I’ll continue to feel lucky through the winter months.
However, today was a day to bundle up and a cozy, high-neck coat and thigh-high boots was a must! You can’t go wrong with the basics, gray and black are always chic!
Ok, so what’s wrong with wearing a ridiculously large pair of sunnies?! Yes, they take up my whole face. Yes, they kinda give me frog eyes … and yes, I think they’re fabulous!! For me, when it comes to sunglasses, bigger is always better. My honey bought me these Jessica Simpson’s for christmas and I love them ..
So, temps got up to 51 today and definitely pulled me out of my funk! I’ve been in a sweatpants wearing, hair in a bun daily, hardly leaving the house kind of mood lately and the sunshine had me feeling like a new person. It seems like it’s been forever since I’ve wore normal clothes! Today, I just stuck with the basics …
