“I always wanted to be great at something and I found out I’m pretty great at a lot of things. I think that’s what it takes to be an entrepreneur. It’s hard if you’re only good at one thing or you’re not adaptable.” -Sophia Amoruso
‘One morning she woke up feeling different. Done with trying to figure out who was with her, who was against her, or walking down the middle because they didn’t have the guts to pick a side. She was done with anything that didn’t bring her peace. She realized that opinions were a dime a dozen, validation was for parking, and loyalty wasn’t a word, but a lifestyle. It was this day that her life changed. And not because of a man, or a job, but because she realized life is way too short to leave the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket.’ -unknown
I’m not sure who wrote that, but I love it. It without a doubt, describes me to the core of my soul. ❤
This past weekend was amazing! My family and I experienced the KAABOO Festival for the first time here in San Diego and needless to say I’m still recovering from all the fun! I tried so hard to keep everyone updated on all my adventures through Snap Chat and Insta Stories but I did a terrible job of sharing my outfits for all three days 😦 I did however, manage to remind my sweet husband to snap a few pics of my look from the final day of the three day festival!
For me, this non-restricting, comfy, Free People dress was perfect for a full day of concerts! Click the links below to get the exact same look! ❤
It’s been a little over a year now since my family and I decided to up and move to San Diego from the Mid-West. And while I feel as though we’ve all experienced so much since being here, there’s definitely a ton that we haven’t! We typically don’t venture far from the coastline but North Park was our destination of choice on Saturday and wow, have we been missing out! This area has LOTS of character! From the breweries, to the eateries, to businesses, and street art this place is an instagramers dream come true!
I was instantly drawn to Pigment, a trendy little store located on the corner of 30th and N Park Way. As soon as I saw those pink stripes outside, I knew I was going to love whatever was inside!! And I did. Filled with a massive array of plants and home decor, this place was sooooooo dreamy! I’m sure Pigment is known by all the locals but if you’re new to the city like me, check it out, you won’t be disappointed! ❤
Happy Hump Day, guys!! I know I’m supposed to be posting pre-fall outfits like everyone else in this blogging world, but the weather here in San Diego is still high 70’s and sunny, soooooo I’ll just continue to post what feels comfortable to me 🙂 BUT, I promise to add some fall outfits in where needed!! ❤
