Sweater weather is officially here and I can’t get enough of all the comfy sweaters I’m seeing everywhere! I love dressing up an oversized sweater or cardigan with jeans and thigh high boots. There’s literally no effort that goes into this outfit yet the result is super chic! Adding sunnies and an oversized crossbody bag really completes this look.
I scored this sweater from H&M for only $20, super cheap and they had tons to choose from. I’m kinda mad at myself, I totally should’ve bought one in each color! Thigh high boots are a must for any gal’s winter wardrobe. I purchased these a few years ago and have worn them religiously ever since. Besides the fact they’re obviously fashionable, they’re also warm! To this date, these boots are still my favorite purchase ❤
Friday is around the corner and I can’t wait to chill! A couple friends visited us from MO last week and stayed until just a few days ago. With this being their first time in California we knew we had to show them all San Diego had to offer, or at least what we could fit into 6 days! Lots of beach time, volleyball, sightseeing, clubbing 😉 and this girl is tired!! lol Anyway, with that being said, this weekend will be filled with lots and lots of relaxing … maybe at the beach 🙂
Ok, so, lets get to the outfit, that’s what you came here for, right?? I decided to go for a classic look today wearing this worn out denim button up paired with one of my favorite pencil skirts. This skirt has a super retro vibe which I totally love! Eva Mendes definitely knows how to bring it where that’s concerned! I just love her clothing line. Pretty much everything reminds me of Mad Men and I literally walk through her store with serious heart eyes! I felt like this look needed some bling so adding layers of necklaces, bracelets, and super dramatic earrings really pulled it all together. To keep the look feeling retro, a leather clutch and oversized, round sunnies was the perfect match! You can find similar items to achieve this look by clicking the links below. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!! ❤
Living near the beach here in San Diego makes these rainy, gloomy days also breezy! While the temp might say it’s 58 degrees out the wind from the ocean definitely brings in the chill factor. I’m not really complaining considering my hometown is facing a multiple day ice storm!! I’ll continue to feel lucky through the winter months.
However, today was a day to bundle up and a cozy, high-neck coat and thigh-high boots was a must! You can’t go wrong with the basics, gray and black are always chic!
I’ve always loved wearing skirts but lately I’m reeeaalllly loving this whole skirt vibe I have going on. This Eva Mendes skirt was gifted to me on Christmas and I just love all the ways it can be styled! Today, I decided to pair it with a chunky, blush turtleneck to add some texture to this otherwise polished look. The leopard print heels add a bit of sass, and the Marc Jacobs leather clutch really ties everything together. My daughter Lexie and I strolled around Coronado on this beautiful, sunny day … and I felt fabulous 🙂 Shop this look below …
