Hello! Today I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite accessories I’ve been loving lately! I’ve been exploring a little more with pops of color as you may have seen in my last post, however, one thing is certain, I’ll always gravitate more towards neutrals on a day to day basis. These simple necessities allow my look to stay simple, yet with lots of texture and character! What’s your summer go to accessory staples? ❤
So, apparently, May Gray and June Gloom is a real thing around here! It’s been a week or so since we’ve had a full day of sunshine and I have to admit, I’m totally missing it! Not that it’s keeping me away from my favorite place, but still, I need some serious vitamin D! However, burning from overcast is real as well, so don’t forget your sunscreen!
Yea, I know, I wear this denim jacket a lot, but it’s my favorite! And when the clouds come out at the beach it’s the perfect cover up, light weight yet solid, keeping the ocean breeze from sending me home. Im attaching links below ❤
Happy Tuesday, guys!! With family in town for the past week I wanted to show them all my favorite places to hangout in San Diego, La Jolla being one of them! Of course, seeing the beautiful cliffs, the ocean, and seals are always a must , it’s hard to not notice all the beautiful architecture and landscaping La Jolla has to offer! I want to share with you a few snap shots of some really simple, yet stunning views that made our hike around the neighborhood a little more enjoyable ❤
First thing’s first, I MUST talk about these jeans! Last weekend the hubby and I decided to drive up to North County San Diego and do a little, or a lot, of garage sale-ing. With getting our new house together I’m always on the hunt for furniture pieces I can revamp and use with my decor. If I’m really lucky, I’ll come across some sweet vintage threads to add to my closet or resell on eBay. Fortunately for me, last Saturday was one of those days! I scored 5 pairs of vintage denim, 3 Levi’s, 1 Banana Republic, and 1 LC. All from the late 70’s, early 80’s, and genuinely worn the hell out of! A few will be sold on my eBay account and a couple of pairs are going to my daughters, but the pair I’m wearing above are definitely staying with me ❤
Happy Valentine’s Day guuuuuuys! I received a few messages the other day in regards to the actual length of this sweater after posting a pic of me sitting in a chair while wearing it. So here’s a few pictures of me standing. Keep in mind I’m kind of a shorty at only 5’3″! Hope this helps those of you who asked or those of you who happened to be wondering as well! In case you missed it, I’ve included the same links as Sunday’s post below …
Today was cloudy and cold 😦 However, with tons of rain in our forecast (like seriously, 6 days straight) I had to get to the beach to smell the ocean one last time for the week. Maybe that’s weird to some, but I moved to San Diego for a reason, ok maybe for a couple of reasons, but one huge reason was to have the ability to visit the ocean as often as I like ❤
This for real, may be the softest cardigan I’ve ever owned!! I’m absolutely IN LOVE with it. Not just a little bit in love with it, like a lot in love with it. I tend to gravitate to cozy cardigans that end up being my ‘everyday, around the house, uniform’ and this sweater is just that! I almost feel as though I should apologize in advance for all the times you’ll be seeing me where it 🙂
Today’s post is short, but sweet! I spent some time in Venice Beach today with my honey, strolling around and people watching. Temps were in the high 60’s, perfect for wearing a light sweater and jeans. I bought these loafers yesterday because I just love the burgundy and mules are always super comfortable to me.
It’s still sometimes crazy to me that I now live only two hours from here! L.A. makes for the perfect weekend getaway! I consider myself a lucky girl, in more ways than one ❤ 🙂
