Let me first start by saying, yesterday’s Nicole Frank Fashion Show in Rancho Sante Fe, CA was uh-mazing!! The food, drinks, the stunning house (mansion), and fashion was all to die for! I will be writing a whole separate post about it later this week but for now I wanted to share with you what I decided to wear to this event.
I decided to go for a more casual, stylish look yesterday by wearing these fabulous cropped, plaid, high-waisted pants I picked up from H&M. I was totally having a Rachel Green moment as this is exactly something I would’ve wore in high school, except I would’ve paired them with my burgundy, Doc Martens Mary Jane Platforms instead of the oxfords! BTW does anyone know if they still make those? I miss them ❤
Heellllooooo, Friday!!! It’s been one hell of a long week (actually two weeks) and I’m ready for a night on the town! If you’re looking for some date night outfit inspiration, look no further! I bought this fringe skirt last year from H&M and as usual I’m just now getting around to wearing it. However, any black skirt would work with this look. As you know, I love statement pieces so a skirt with some texture and character is always a bonus! I love the pairing of a basic t-shirt and knotting it on the side which also adds some detail but in a simple way. I’m attaching some links below for similar options to create an outfit similar to this one ❤
My family and I stopped in the cutest little town in Colorado on our way home from Boulder last weekend! The temps were cool which gave me the perfect excuse to pull out my poncho, as if I need one! Cozy set the tone for this day and I don’t believe you can get any cozier than this super comfortable turtleneck from Billabong, paired with leggings. The boots and bag dress up and otherwise super casual look ❤
So, I’ve probably been wearing these cargo pants a little too often lately, but what can I say? … they go with everything! I was totally feeling them a few days ago with an all black ensemble and a touch of fur, which is really a scarf I draped over my bag to give the look some texture. Wearing it as a scarf with the leather jacket is a good look too, but this San Diego weather isn’t going to let that happen anytime soon … and for real, I’m not even mad about it ❤
