Comfy and cozy is the name of my game lately! Fall in San Diego has proven to be my favorite season, as the weather is simply amazing. Mid to low 70’s during the day and 50’s at night allows me to dress in basically my all year round wardrobe and I couldn’t be happier!
I went to H&M yesterday and needless to say my feed will be full of this super affordable and chic brand most of next week! I was a huge fan of H&M while living in MO, frankly because shopping was so limited where I’m from but now that I live here in San Diego and have soooooo many other options I was surprised to still gravitate to this store, but I do and I love it!
I hope everyone is having an amazing weekend so far. I’m heading to a Sip and Shop Fashion Show in North County today and taking my youngest daughter with me ❤ I plan to post about that tomorrow … maybe Saturday 😉 Have a great weekend!
Happy Hump Day, friends!! I decided to take advantage of this warmer weather to share this dress I snagged on sale at Urban outfitters. I fell in love with it in the spring but my size wasn’t in stock and while usually I’ll then order it online, another dress quickly caught my attention and sadly this little number was forgotten 😦 Then the other day I was browsing through the UO website and there it was, for $19.99!!! Clearly it was meant to be and so I purchased … and now I’m sharing not only a similar dress but also the link to browse ALL their dresses on sale here . ❤

Daannngggg, San Diego!! A hundred degrees … I’m not even mad about it. It is a little hard to show off fall fashion and in that way it’s not the most ideal temps but I’ll take it over cold and rainy any day! We live less than a mile from the beach, so our house doesn’t have air-conditioning because it’s unusual for it to get this hot. The ocean breeze typically keeps it nice around here but on a day like today, all you can do is stay as close to the water as possible! So I finished my workout, emails, etc and headed to the beach! What’s everyone else doing to stay cool? Let’s chat about it ❤
Ok so, for those of you who have followed me through my journey of moving to the Westcoast you may have noticed a borderline obsessive desire to obtain a large amount of cactus and succulents. I think it’s not only because they’re super mysterious and cool, probably not even because of the lack of growing in the midwest, but mostly because I can actually keep it alive!! Jk, jk … I’m not sure where the obsession comes from exactly but I just think they’re pretty freakin’ cool.
Even though my house is now in abundance of cactus, I’ve also found other items I’m coveting for myself and my home. You can click on the link below to purchase and help fedd your cactus obsession as well ❤
Just a quick post today! I spent yesterday in Pacific Beach, with my daughter Drue, doing a little shopping and on a whim scored this sweater on sale from Urban Outfitters ($20)! Seriously, the softest sweater (next to cashmere) that has ever touched my skin. Super soft + super baggy = super cozy. I think I’ll wear it forever ❤
