Heellllooooo, Friday!!! It’s been one hell of a long week (actually two weeks) and I’m ready for a night on the town! If you’re looking for some date night outfit inspiration, look no further! I bought this fringe skirt last year from H&M and as usual I’m just now getting around to wearing it. However, any black skirt would work with this look. As you know, I love statement pieces so a skirt with some texture and character is always a bonus! I love the pairing of a basic t-shirt and knotting it on the side which also adds some detail but in a simple way. I’m attaching some links below for similar options to create an outfit similar to this one ❤
So, I’ve probably been wearing these cargo pants a little too often lately, but what can I say? … they go with everything! I was totally feeling them a few days ago with an all black ensemble and a touch of fur, which is really a scarf I draped over my bag to give the look some texture. Wearing it as a scarf with the leather jacket is a good look too, but this San Diego weather isn’t going to let that happen anytime soon … and for real, I’m not even mad about it ❤
I’m enjoying every last moment of these high temps by mixing summer cami’s with fall bottoms and accessories! The all black look and a pop of color has been a long time favorite of mine and if temps were cooler I’d throw a black leather jacket on to complete this outfit. I also love this look for date nights as it’s both flirty and sexy, perfect for Friday night drinks downtown! ❤
HIGH END (MY LUST LIST)
LOW END (MY LOVE LIST)
While many of you spend your holiday weekends traveling, barbecuing, or spending time with family and friends … I spend mine shopping. I can’t miss out on all those amazing sales!! My MAJOR stops this Labor Day weekend?? Express, H&M, and Dillard’s! The shoe sale at Dillard’s was awesome sauce, but I won’t be featuring those finds today. Today, I want to talk about these yummy, super soft, body skimming, V-neck tops I stumbled across at Express! Made of modal, polyester, and a little spandex these shirts are sooooo comfy! Easy to dress up with a skirt and heels or dress down with jeans and chucks! These tops are stylish and at only $19.90 – $24.90 they’re also a steal! I nearly bought one in every color!
On this particular rainy day, I chose to pair my new One Eleven (Express) top with my Valentino denim skirt and nude heels …
This is the Valentino skirt I’ve talked about in previous posts! Found and purchased at Muse Clothing in The District (Downtown Columbia, MO) and FINALLY featured on here. If you’re in the area and get the chance stop in you’ll love it … pinky promise 🙂
SHOP THE OUTFIT!!
Each time I visit San Diego I start to get giddy. I know I’ll be visiting my all time favorite mall, Fashion Valley! And in that mall consists of my all time favorite store, Nordstrom! There’s something about having all your desired brands in one store, I mean, it doesn’t get better than that! I lust over Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Chloe, and Balenciaga, just to name a few but then again let’s not forget all the other drool worthy brands like Chanel, Fendi, Valentino, Burberry …. ok I’m getting excited all over again!
The Marc by Marc Jacobs bag I’m carrying on this day was a purchase from my last visit to this mall a couple of months ago. As I’ve mentioned in other posts, my access to designer brands is limited in my small Mid-West city, so malls like Fashion Valley is a special treat for me! On this particular trip I was shopping for sunnies but who can help browsing through designer handbags!!
